Salad:
Put the following in a salad bowl:
- 3 large carrots, julienne (thinly sliced) using a mandolin
- 1 cup jicama thinly sliced
- ½ cup thinly chopped celery
- 2 tbsp black sesame seeds
Toss this together with the salad dressing below and serve on a bed of greens.
Ginger Dressing:
Put the following in your blender:
- 1 tbsp oil (extra virgin or sesame)
- 1 clove garlic
- 2 tsp soy sauce (naturally fermented)
- 1 tbsp minced ginger root
- ½ tsp cayenne
Blend on high until creamy and use with salad. Store in the fridge.
